I can see the similarities you mentioned, but at least the alien-comedy angle, in and of itself, hasn’t been done to death. The only examples I can come up with off the top of my head are Third Rock from the Sun and ALF. I’ll definitely give The Neighbors a try; I may as well since I use the PrimeTime Anytime feature, it’ll be recorded on my DVR automatically anyway. Plus, as one of my coworkers at Dish recently pointed out, the Hopper now has the Auto Hop feature. It’s great to have the choice to skip the commercials on the PrimeTime Anytime recordings (which include: CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX). And since Auto Hop’s been shaving off around 15-20 minutes out of every hour of TV I watch, I can fit in a few more shows into my schedule.

Well written season review! I do think the show is now reset for potentially a good ninth season. My only complaint is that they seem to be bringing back Nellie…I’m not happy about that! I will miss Robert California, but he really didn’t fit well in this show as CEO. If they had originally made him RM and made his character closer to the original incarnation it might have worked.

These are all great choices!..all my favorites as welI. I felt as if you were reading my mind with some of the commentary. One sketch I love in particular and quote often is the one where Todd Margaret meets the prince and shakes his balls with the wrong hand. …”I appologize for that awful, AWFUL man!!” I also love the one where the two adult brothers still live at home. I know this is an old thread and no one may ever see this…
